Cane Bay Plantation in Summerville is exploding right now. This master-planned community has been under construction for more than 10 years, and it is still one of the fastest growing communities in the country.

I’m spending a lot of time there right now, as I have two buyers building new homes and will have three sellers on the market as of Friday. I’m sold on Cane Bay Plantation, but let me show you why you should take a closer look at Cane Bay and my new listing: 510 Cinder Court.

Cane Bay has its own elementary school, middle school, and high school. There are miles and miles of walking trails that wind throughout the community. Each subsection has its own swimming pool and play area. A YMCA is coming soon. It has a Publix grocery store and other services at its entrance. And a new exit off of I-26 is going to make it a lot more accessible for commuters.

So now you have an idea about the community, let’s focus on the house and what it has to offer.

For starters, there are very few one-story homes available for sale in Cane Bay right now. If you want more than three bedrooms, you have almost no options. This home has four bedrooms PLUS a finished room over the garage, which could possibly be a fifth bedroom. To buy a new one-story home this size in Cane Bay, it would cost you well over $300,000.

Next, ceiling height. Not only does this house have a very open floor plan (almost no walls), the ceilings are at least 12′ tall. This makes the living area feel even bigger than it is – and it’s pretty big.

It has great curb appeal. It’s tucked away in a cul-de-sac, with pine trees behind it. The backyard is fully fenced and has enough room for a swing set, trampoline, grilling patio, and a garden.

There’s a tiled sun room that is open to the rest of the house but also somewhat separated. It makes a great gathering place, lounging area, or possibly recreation space (pool table).

The bedrooms are situated for maximum privacy. None of them share a wall. There are two bedrooms at the front of the house that share a bathroom; another one toward the front of the house but on the other side; and the owner’s suite is in the back of the house. The third bedroom I described could be used as an office or hobby room, as the French doors make it easy to keep that space open to the rest of the house.

The kitchen is another big, open space and offers a center island, granite counter tops, stainless appliances, a pantry, a breakfast bar, and a breakfast nook.

This home has so much to offer its next owner, and I’d love to show it to you! Please use the contact form to schedule your private showing.
